Racanelli's has reopened its doors at 12 S. Euclid in the CWE. The space was closed for a few months this winter for expansion and renovation, but now you can come check out the great new space and get a slice of the same amazing New York style pizza.

The long-time home to the Golden Grocer is finally going to be getting a big face-lift. In late March we will begin renovations to one of the most important buildings in the CWE. We've finalized leases with two tenants for two vacant storefronts and will be creating a mix of office and residential spaces on the second floor. More to come...

Perchelle O'Boyle will be opening "Boutique 83" at 4658 Maryland in the empty storefront next to Starbucks. The 2-level boutique will feature brands like Nicole Miller, Meghan, English Clientele, Yana K, Betsey Johnson, Hannah Jo and Juwst Cavalli, as well as men's and women's shoes. Targeted opening is early April 2010.

The best place in Clayton to get sushi is about to get better. We just finalized a deal at our building on Meramec for Miso to double its street level presence. Owner Brad Beracha expects to complete his renovations (including a new sushi bar, expanded seating and outdoor patio) and open the improved space in January 2010. Miso will remain open during the renovations.

You may have heard rumors swirling, but it was made official this morning! Chez Leon will reopen its doors in the coming months at our building at 7927 Forsyth in downtown Clayton. While there will be some minor revisions to the French menu, lunch and dinner will be all the things you've always loved about Chez Leon and more. The big twist? Daily breakfasts with light fare, fresh coffee and juices, an assortment of newspapers, and Leon himself. Or, host your business meeting over a full breakfast with an advance reservation. We'll let you know once there's a targeted opening date.

We're very excited he's coming to the CWE, and think this new spot will be a great addition to our selection of eateries. Targeted opening date of late October/early November.

Pi will be opening at 400 N. Euclid, the northeast corner of Euclid & McPherson. Obama thinks it's the best pizza he's ever had, and that's hard to disagree with. Targeted opening date is early December.
